RORY FIELDING President / Director


Rory Fielding founded Fast Focus in 2001 and is an award winning Director-Producer with over twenty years broadcast experience. He has produced and directed numerous programs for PBS, including the TV series Live at Capitol Records, hosted by Dave Koz, and profiles of entertainment icons Paul McCartney, Sting, Steve Miller, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi and BB King.

Rory loves some of the great story lines in world of sports, and his body of work reflects this passion. His award winning documentary on the Brooklyn Dodgers, 1955 Seven Days of Fall, was honored as Best Sports Documentary, NY Film Festival and recipient of the Aurora Award, 'Platinum Best in Show'. It airs nationwide on ESPN and PBS. The film was subsequently inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. Rory was commissioned by the Baseball Hall of Fame to produce a commemorative biography celebrating Jackie Robinson’s 50th anniversary breaking of the color barrier in Major League Baseball, broadcast on Public Television.

At WWBT (NBC), Richmond, Virginia, Rory worked as an investigative reporter and documentary producer. He was twice honored with the AP Award for Broadcast Excellence. He received his undergraduate degree from New York University, majoring in Film & Television, and studied at NYU’s Washington Square School of the Arts. He served as Associate Professor for NYU’s film department, and lectures at Palm Beach Community College.

KELLY KELLEHER VP / Executive Producer


Kelly has been a broadcast professional since 1991 when she began her career at CNN in the Chicago bureau as an associate producer. She later joined WABU-TV in Boston where she co-produced the Emmy winning series, “Consider This”. She has worked for NFL Films and later developed a film asset management program for Sony Pictures Entertainment.

As a broadcast executive she developed and distributed public relations content to television stations nationwide. Kelly was a member of the Emmy Award winning team that produced the rock documentary “You Gotta Move” with Aerosmith for the A&E Television Network and the Rock doc “Paul McCartney in Red Square” for the ABC Concert Series.

Kelly has enjoyed a long relationship with Fast Focus, where she heads the business development team. She has secured underwriting with Fortune 500 companies and developed partnerships with film festivals, independent labels and major Hollywood studios. She is responsible for meeting creative and financial goals and managing the global digital distribution network. Kelly is a graduate of Villanova University where she majored in Communication Arts.

JERRY CARR VP / Station Relations


Just 27 when he stepped in front of the camera for the first time in Toledo, Ohio, Jerry Carr has gone on to become one of the most admired executives in broadcasting—turning troubled stations around and helping to shape the local television business.

Jerry was Managing Director of WTVX-TV in West Palm Beach, Florida, operated by Paxson Communications. A co-affiliate of UPN and WB, the station suffered from lackluster performance and ratings. Jerry revamped programming and added live news production. He also spent eleven years with WBFS TV Miami where he served as Vice-President and General Manager. By carefully introducing new programming and sports, he built the fledgling UHF station into one of UPN’s most successful affiliates.

Jerry served as President and Chief Executive Officer WXEL-TV and WXEL-FM, a PBS member station, in West Palm Beach, Florida. Taking on this troubled station in September, 1997, he made his presence apparent with almost immediate improvement in the station’s financial status, while elevating program quality. Most recently Jerry joined Fast Focus where he oversees station relations, underwriting guidelines and broadcast distribution strategies.

SCOTT ROGO Post Production Supervisor


Scott began his career in broadcasting at Akron Ohio, ABC affiliate WAKC-TV as an audio specialist, technical director, film editor, and director of newscasts and local programs. He later became an editor at the PBS affiliate, WEIO-TV.

Since those early days, Scott switched gears, and dedicated his efforts primarily to post production where the magic is made. He honed his craft working at Avid Communications.

Scott has edited the majority of Fast Focus programs since 2004, profiling both musical legends and emerging artists alike. His unique style adds a creative touch to Fast Focus programs. Scott headed post production for the acclaimed documentary 1955 Seven Days of Fall which currently airs on Public Television. He received an Accolade Award of Excellence for his effort.



Cortney Fielding has been creating content for the Fast Focus series since 2003, writing and producing pieces that delve into every subject from the environment to rock n'roll. Her work has been picked up by PBS stations across the country and well as partner sites like Comcast. A multi-media journalist based in San Francisco, her online work has also been featured on NPR, CNN and the New York Times. Cortney earned a B.A. in telecommunications from the University of Florida, and later received an M.A. in Journalism from the University of Southern California.
