The Whole of Greece In One Smile

The ancient Greeks first competed in Olympic games almost 3000 years ago. When the Olympics were reborn in 1896 as a global event, the world saw them as a way to promote unity among nations. Fittingly, the very first of these modern Olympic games took place in Athens. This summer, the Olympics will once again be held in Athens Greece. To commemorate this rich history, is a photomontage spanning over 5000 square feet. It is called The Whole of Greece in One Smile, and is made up of almost 17,000 photos, arranged to create the image of a childs smiling face. This amazing montage drapes over one of downtown Athens largest buildings.
