New Alternative to Dropout Problem Among Young Adults
The latest numbers show that over 3.8 million young adults are not enrolled in school. But with the recent Supreme Court ruling in favor of "school choice" being one of today's hottest political issues, students and parents are discovering an alternative to traditional public schools. Instead of waiting until September, kids who have failed or dropped out of school can enroll in one of these alternative schools right away. One such school is the tuition-free Life Skills Center in Elyria, Ohio. Publicly funded, Life Skills Centers focus on giving maximum personal attention, with classes no larger than 11 at a time.
